Senior Programs and Services
Senior programs and services provided in the community to improve the health and wellness of seniors: 
  • New Jersey Health Initiative/Robert Wood Johnson Planning Grant
  • Aging and Living Well Education Series
  • Help Enhancement and Learning Program
    • Enhance Wellness
    • Self-Management of Chronic Health Conditions
New Jersey Health Initiative/Robert Wood Johnson Planning Grant would position the agency to obtain funding to implement a comprehensive program for seniors with chronic health conditions.
 
Aging and Living Well Education Series provides workshops on:
 
  • Living well with Chronic Conditions (Diabetes, High Blood Pressure, etc.)
  • Emotional and Mental Health
  • Physical Activity (Exercises)
  • Prevention of STDs
Health Enhancement Learning Program - a community and evidence–based program for older adults that provides workshops on:
  • Enhance Wellness – seniors choose health goals and obtain support to accomplish set goals.
  • Self-Management for Chronic Conditions – A 6-week format that focus on education and activities to help manage chronic conditions.
