Health & The Environment Camden AHEC works with healthcare providers, environmental experts and others to devise and implement environmental policy. AHEC works to increase parental and public awareness and preventive measures against environmental threats. NJEJA has three regional components organized geographically within the state—Northern, Central and Southern—to encourage and support local struggles. NJEJA meets quarterly.     http://www.sjeja.org/index.html South Jersey Environmental Justice Alliance (SJEJA) is based in Camden City, and several of its members are Camden residents, SJEJA intends to make Camden a significant focus of its activities because of the severity of the city's environmental problems. The general focus of SJEJA's work is in the eight counties that make up South Jersey. These counties include; Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Mercer, Ocean & Salem.
